Ellen Burke
My prints are inspired by nature, wild places and animals, and the Central Coast landscape. I am largely self-taught as a printmaker, and work mostly in lino block. I have been in trained as an artist across mediums in painting, drawing, and filmmaking. Printmaking is a slow process, and I think that might be what I love about it most. The process is full presence in the moment of making.
